We wanted to build a tire carrier that would open with the tailgate in one smooth motion without placing unwanted stress on the hinges. With the Integrated Pivot Tire Carrier?, we achieved just that. The IPTC? features a fully adjustable integrated mounting system that attaches the tire carrier directly to the tailgate while accommodating tire sizes from up to 42. The Rigid Rear Bumper is built out of 3/16 alloy steel and has 1/4 mounting plates. It features 2 recovery shackle points anchored directly to the frame, and a 2 recessed receiver hitch with 1/4 steel safety chain loops. The combination of oversized bearings at the pivot point, and 3/16 steel ensures all of the strength you need. Available in black powder coat. Rock Slide Bumpers are made in the USA.
