Manufactured from 3/16? cold rolled steel plate this rear bumper is designed to provide protection from the trail or the mall parking lot. Replace the plastic rear bumper on your FJ with this tuff three piece steel rear bumper. Manufactured from 3/16? cold rolled steel plate this rear bumper is designed to provide protection from the trail or the mall parking lot. The center section of the bumper provides a secure step area to help load cargo on the FJ roof rack. The center of the bumper is notched to provide clearance for a 35? tall tire when mounted to the OEM tire mount. The back face of the bumper is pre-drilled for the backup sensors and a center recovery point. The recovery point attaches directly to the frame cross member. Simple bolt on installation, but installation does require cutting out the tall corners of the OEM plastic bumper. The OEM hitch is not compatible with the FJ-2961. We recommend using an aftermarket hitch similar to one pictured. The bumper is painted in a dual process texture black powder coat finish.
